Understand the deeper meaning of God’s Word.
Have you ever felt tired in a way that sleep can’t fix? You keep going, you smile, you “function”—but your soul is heavy.

Jesus didn’t call the strong or the perfect. He called the weary, the burdened, the ones who are trying to carry the world on their shoulders.

And the beautiful part? He doesn’t ask you to earn the rest.
He simply says: Come.

🧠 True rest doesn’t mean escaping life—it means letting Jesus step into it and carry it with you.

🌙 Real Moment:
Hannah is a single mom. Every day is a storm of schedules, work, cooking, and doing her best. One night, after her child finally fell asleep, she opened her Bible and read this verse. She cried—not out of weakness, but because for the first time in a while, she felt seen.

Now, whenever the days feel too heavy, she whispers:
"I come to You, Lord. Carry me, please."
Reflect Question
Think, connect, and apply the message.
🧳 What are you carrying right now that feels too heavy for your heart?
🤲 When you’re exhausted, where do you go for rest—social media, distraction, or Jesus?
💧Are you willing to lay down the pressure to be “strong” and receive God’s gentle rest?
Daily Prayer
Pray and draw closer to God.
Jesus,
You see what I carry—even the parts I hide from everyone else. I’m not here to impress You. I’m just tired. I come to You now, not with answers but with an open heart. Please give me the rest that only You can give. Hold me, lead me, and lift what I can’t carry anymore.
Amen.
Action Step
Live out God’s Word today!
🛏️ Before sleeping tonight, read Matthew 11:28 again. Breathe slowly. Let it soak in.
📓 Write down 3 things that are making you feel worn out. Under each one, write: “I give this to You, Lord.”
🤍 Send a gentle message to a friend who may also be feeling weary. Sometimes, rest starts with kindness.
( * Goals: Practice the peace that God has promised, instead of letting fear control you.)
